"I had undertaken some WHS duties when filling in for holidays etc, and wanted to obtain some qualifications that would help me obtain something more permanent. I am currently looking at opportunities within the company that I can put the training received into more regular practice.

I have had to continually consider training as I have been in situations where a job I had been doing was upgraded and required further qualifications. This required that I undertake training to ensure that my qualifications were always ahead of the role requirements. In this instance, I am undertaking the training to ensure that my career finishes in a role that is enjoyable and provides a variety of tasks that keep it interesting.

Being an older student, I was not excited about the prospect of commencing studies again, especially as I am moving closer to retirement and do not necessarily want to start something new. From doing this course with Reece and Gramac, I found it to be inclusive and they valued the contributions made to the class. I was given every opportunity to succeed, and the whole process was a lot more enjoyable than I had expected. The good news is that age doesn’t matter, and you are never to old to learn something new.

Having to adapt to the introduction of social distancing, the course was flexible enough that there were no disruptions, and everything went smoothly both in the classroom and via zoom.

Reece is an excellent trainer, personable, encourages involvement from participants and values their view and experience and is willing to spend extra time where it is required to ensure that everyone understands what is being presented.

Excellent organisation as it is based in the regional location where the training is delivered and not a fly in from Adelaide or Melbourne, giving them a better understanding of the region and what is happening here. Adapting to a zoom presentation they delivered the content in a professional way, but were able to maintain the regional personalised flavour that is so often missing in training."
