USI (Unique Student Identifier)

A USI (Unique Student Identifier) is a reference number that creates an online record of your training and qualifications attained in Australia. An individual’s nationally recognised training and qualifications obtained anywhere in Australia will be kept together, even if training was completed with different training organisations.

If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment. A USI will be made up of numbers and letters and is free to create.

A USI is for life! You only have to create it once.

Upon enrolment in one of our nationally accredited courses, you will be asked to record your USI on your enrolment form. If you do not currently have a USI you can opt to give us the authority to create one on your behalf.

How do I create my own USI?
It is an easy process which can be done online in less than 5 minutes. You will need to have some form of identification available e.g. Drivers Licence or Birth Certificate though.

I have forgotten my USI
If you have done training since 2015 you will most likely already have a USI, but they are not the easiest number to remember.
